We just heard from our new landlord at The Bungalow today that they will be increasing our rent (beyond what most of us can afford) three months from now.

I am quite sad, as I had thought I had found my “forever home” there. I thought I might be able to stay until I retire, which could be many years — or as few as maybe five.

So now I will be moving my practice… somewhere else at the beginning of March, 2024.

Prior to the Bungalow, I had a home-call-only practice during 2 years of the pandemic and a small office at my home. However, working out of my home with animals (and a roommate) is not ideal. There is a lot more cleaning (animal fur and toys), there are allergy issues for clients, and there are noise issues. Not to mention parking problems.

I don’t know what the solution will be yet, but I do know I will definitely will be scrambling to find one over the next three months. Keep an eye on the website for updates! Thanks.
